5 Wellness Tips

Welcome back!

With everything going on in the world and everyone feeling stressed,  scared and overwhelmed, I figured today was a good day to remind you all of simple wellness tips you can practice at home when you are feeling anxious.

You are not alone in your thoughts. It will get better.

Step one:

This is super important guys, listen to your mind and body and take care of it.

Don't ignore the signs you are worn out, whether it is mentally or physically. Drink a glass of water, take deep breaths, put on your favorite song and take some time to clear your thoughts. Reminding to drink water seems silly but it is SO important for your well being.

Step 2

Sometimes its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but no matter how big or small, reminding yourself of upcoming things, no matter how big or small, can help improve your mindset and keep you moving through a stressfull week.

Step 3

This step is 4 tips to help improve your day working from home. It's easy for the day and night to start blending together, which doesn't do any favors for mental health! So its important to treat your day the way you would in your office or job site, and designate a work space. You don't need to feel chained to your desk all day, and remember, when you are done for the day, log off! Work will be there in the morning.

Step 4

I can't stress this one enough, if you are struggling, talk to someone!

Whether you find a trusted professional, or a trusted friend, putting into words how you are feeling can take a lot of the burden off, and getting advice from someone you trust and love can do wonders for your mental state. Don't hold it in, no one feels happy all the time. If you are overwhelmed, reach out.

Step 5

This method is tried and true, but not getting enough sleep is proven to negatively affect your mental state, so make sure you are getting the right amount of sleep you need to recharge, if needed, start unwinding earlier, until you get on a better cycle. There are many apps to track your sleep pattern, which can really help you figure out what schedule to get yourself on to start feeling refreshed in the morning!

There we have it! I hope you will be able to use these tips to help improve your wellness day to day!
